Mick Gleeson has a background in Physiotherapy and the Alexander Technique, and a special interest in the dynamics of postural orientation. He has been lecturing for the Alexander Community since 1992 and strives to make the scientific information relevant to the Alexander Technique accessible and interesting to a wider audience.

Mick Gleeson has a background in Physiotherapy and the Alexander Technique, and a special interest in the dynamics of postural orientation. He qualified as a physiotherapist in 1984 and as a Teacher of the Alexander Technique in 1989. He worked at the Brighton Alexander Training Centre in Sussex from 1992 to 1997 and then in private practice in London until 2001. Following this Mick worked for the Children’s Physiotherapy Service in Camden, NW London from 2001 to 2005. He has been lecturing for the Alexander Community since 1992 and strives to make the scientific information relevant to the Alexander Technique accessible and interesting to a wider audience. He completed a Masters in Special Education (Sensory Disability) in 2007 and starts a Research Degree at the School of Public Health at Sydney University in March 2010.

Lectures can be attended either singly or as a group.
Who should attend: The lectures are open to Alexander technique teachers, and to anyone working with or interested in the functioning of human beings.
Format: Each day there will be two one hour lectures at the school from 9.00 to 11.30am with a half hour break between them.
