This course is open to people who have had lessons in the Alexander technique. The group will be based on the writings of F.M. Alexander and in term one we will be basing these classes on 'The Evolution of a Technique' which is the first chapter of Use of the Self.
In this chapter Alexander describes the process and discoveries he went through in overcoming his own voice problem. The first part of the class will consist of a short discussion on this chapter which will then move into practical work, looking how to apply Alexander's discoveries and insights in participants own process of change.
This class provides an opportunity for people to continue their Alexander technique journey, explore and enlarge their own understanding of the work and how to apply it in their own lives and to meet with others who are on the same journey.
