Musician & Alexander Technique Teacher
Robert Schubert had his first Alexander Technique lesson in 1982. He went on to study the Alexander Technique (AT), in the USA, Canada and Australia.

After early study of AT as a music student the Technique became increasingly useful as a tool for dealing with the demands of professional musical performance as Principal Clarinettist in Hiroyuki Iwaki’s Orchestra Ensemble Kanazawa in Japan. Robert now lectures at the Victorian College of the Arts, Melbourne University where he teaches Alexander Technique for performing artists of all levels and disciplines. He also teaches AT to students at the Victorian College of the Arts Secondary School and gives workshops and presentations on the Alexander Technique in educational institutions around the country including Monash University and Box Hill Institute of TAFE in Melbourne and Charles Darwin University and Darwin Secondary College in Darwin, NT.

Robert is available for lessons in Southbank and in Mount Waverley, where he is bringing the benefits of Alexander Technique study to the wider community. For more information contact Robert on: 0432 578 688.
